Pros: Value, Fidelity, Versatility

The Bottom Line: The Bose Companion 3 Multimedia Speaker System is a great choice in the home, business or at the vacation home. Bose quality delivers yet once more!
Review: Let’s face it; we spend a lot of time in front of computers, occupied with everything from work related activity to just burning time on the ‘net. Like most folks, I like to have a little background music on while I work and given the time I ...

by  gavincumm,  Sep 21, 2006
Pros: absolutely fantastic, reach out and touch it sound; love volume control
Cons: possibly price, but really feel it is worth it
The Bottom Line: Bose!!! Why have you been hiding products like this all of these years?
Review: As I am sitting here writing this review, the wonderful jazz-R&B-pop-etc. etc. etc. artist Al Jarreau is playing on my iBook on the wonderful Bose Companion 3 computer speakers. To say that I am surprised by the performance of these beauties would be a ...

Epinions Excellent little marvels

by  cgimpel,  Jun 6, 2006
Pros: Small sized satellites, excellent crisp sound, amazing woofer. The volume puck is great
Cons: A bit pricey
The Bottom Line: I definitely recommend these speakers for the kind of user who wants clear crisp great sound in an elegant sleek design. They won't disappoint.
Review: Let me start by saying that I've read all possible reviews on these speakers and on many Bose products as well. It's no secret that there's a lot of Bose haters out there and they have their reasons. However, I do believe that one should be as well ...

Epinions Great sound (for a price)

by  Bradman,  Jul 13, 2006
Pros: Excellent sound, small speakers, cool remote
Cons: A bit expensive,
The Bottom Line: Great 2.1 sound from a very small (and attractive) package.
Review: My wife wanted a set of nice sounding speakers for her desk and there was no way to have a surround setup. I did a lot of research on 2.1 setups (2.1 refers to the number of "main speakers" two in this case and a subwoofer, the one). My toddler son is ...

Epinions Excellent speakers from Bose... and reasonable price.

by  gg25,  Oct 4, 2006
Pros: Sound is excellent for a small system, small, looks good, acoustimass delivers tuneful bass.
Cons: Pricey
The Bottom Line: Great speakers, reasonable price. Decent bass performance. Perfect for tight spaces, nice size speakers.. elegant design and operation.
Review: I have the older Companion 3 design, the newer ones may be slightly improved - I'm not sure. I will keep this short and simple... but I'm impressed with them for the price. Sure, there may be much bigger, similar priced speakers around that sound ...

Epinions BEST SO FAR BUT I AM NOT AN EXPERT

by  misswham,  Jan 14, 2008
Pros: size and quality. the compact size is wonderful and doesn't take much room.
Cons: Too costly. There aren't any jacks to add more speakers
The Bottom Line: Buy it if you can afford it and this is the best I have ever had.
Review: I had a regular surround sound system from Best Buy. I had it connected to a 5.1 sound card. It went out on me after one year. I bought 4 other supposedly upgraded sound systems and they didn't sound and better than the cheap one from Best Buy. So I ...

Epinions Love At First Sound

by  monsdomain,  Jan 8, 2006
Pros: Stands out above the rest with its elegant design and excellent sound quality.
Cons: No wireless remote control, treble and bass adjustments. A little pricey.
The Bottom Line: Try them if you're looking for high end sound for your PC and other portable devices and have an extra $250. Look elsewhere if you want ground shaking bass.
Review: Just like other Bose speakers, the Companion 3 is a well built product. These speakers have caught my eyes since Bose introduced them first to market but I have been really reluctant to purchase one because of its pricey tag. I was hoping that the MSRP ...

Epinions Weak Power?

by  djs2005,  Nov 22, 2005
Pros: Incredible range. Detailed sound. Makes anything sound pure and clean.
Cons: As always with Bose , it ain't cheap.
The Bottom Line: It all depends on what you need. I was very happy with my logitechs. Then I heard Klipsch and Bose. I will never go back.
Review: I needed something to replace my Logitech Z-560's (400w RMS). Not wanting to spend 700$ Canadian on a set of Klipsch I thought I'd have no choice but to save for a very high-end system. Then I re-discovered the Companions 3 from Bose. I had seen theses ...

Epinions Among the Best, if not the Best!

by  bbruce69,  Aug 11, 2006
Pros: Compactness, Great looking, Sweet sound,
Cons: None. It gives me value for my money!
The Bottom Line: Buy this speaker system. It will change the way you look at your computer. For its price, there is absolutely no competition.
Review: I sold Companion II to upgrade to Companion III. Even though I liked Companion II, I needed more low end in my music which Companion III readily provides. I never expected the low end in this computer speaker system to shake the ground or my whole ...
