Here's an easy way to enjoy CD sound without having to replace your car audio system. You can add CD convenience to any FM car stereo - even your factory radio - with any of the changer packages on this page. Since Pioneer knows that you don't want to fuss with a lot of connections during your install, they built the FM modulator into the compact CDX-FM657 add-on changer. Automatic Gain Control helps insure accurate disc tracking. Plus, with the ability to mount it at any angle from 0 to 90 degrees, you should have no trouble finding an out-of-the-way mounting location. Minimize

Many Features, Driving Unfriendly

Pros: Small size, tiny remote, very adaptable, CD-TEXT, skip-free

Cons: Small font (on display), not very legible during daytime operation.

The Bottom Line: Perfect for the user with a medium to low budget and interested in CD-TEXT. That is one of its main features.

Review: Pioneer has been around for a while in the car audio industry. That is the number one reason I chose to go with them. The second reason is that the CDX-FM657 is packed with so many features for such a good price.

Multiple CDs made Easy

Pros: Compact Size - Hidden Location - Ease Of Operation

Cons: None Noted At This Time

Review: My knowledge of CD players was very limited. A portable single CD player with an adapter for car use was as technical as I ever got. Changing or checking tracks while driving was not easy or smart. Tangling wires around a shifter was quite a problem.
